Linda Springstead Benefit Auction & Dance

Amazing things happen when we pull together for the
Common Good!

Saturday, January 31, 2009 was the night of the Linda Springstead Benefit Auction &
Dance, held at Pacific Crest Grand Ballroom.  We do not have an exact head count;
however, we do know that there were between 400 and 500 people in attendance, and the
BEST NEWS... over $23,000.00 dollars was raised!!!

Our goals were to have 400 people and raise $10,000.00 - well, see what happens when you
set goals.  We met, and exceeded our attendance goal, and more than DOUBLED our
dollars raised goal.  So, it was true what we stated, "When devastation hits the dance
community... the dance community hits back!"

When we, Chris & Michelle, suggested the idea, of this benefit, to Sandy Sallee, in early
December 2008, we had no idea that it would mushroom in such a grand way.  We want
to personally thank Linda, for allowing us to host this benefit for her, and we are so
thankful to be able to have facilitated the benefit.

The success of the event was due to hard working volunteers...
very hard working volunteers.
