Studio Policies
Payment Policy:
We accept cash, checks, debit cards, Visa, Master Card, and Discover. There will be a $20.00 fee on any
returned check.
Cancellation Policy:
If you have arranged a Private Lesson, or a Private Group Lesson, and are unable to attend your lesson for any
reason, please call at least 24 hours ahead of your scheduled time to cancel your lesson. If you do not
cancel at least 24 hours ahead, we reserve the right to charge you for the missed lesson.
If you are ill, (cold, flu, fever, Strep Throat, etc.), PLEASE STAY HOME! Ballroom Dancing is a "contact
sport". You will be able to make up anything you missed in a Group Class, and Private Lessons can be
rescheduled. Remember, if Chris, Michelle, or Jason gets sick, you'll end up missing more weeks of lessons!
Dance Lesson Policy:
If you, the student, are late to the lesson, the lesson will end at the scheduled time. If the teacher is late to the
lesson, either the time will be made up, or you will not be charged for a full lesson. That decision will be made by
the teacher.
Allergy Policy:
Please DO NOT wear perfume, cologne, or lotion to any Renaissance Ballroom Dance Studios Group
Class, Private Lesson, or Private Group Lesson! We reserve the right to cancel the Lesson or Class if
the "fragrance" is too strong or bothersome.
Not only are several of the teachers allergic to perfumes, lotions, and colognes, but many students suffer from
allergies, asthma, etc. Please be considerate of those issues.
Dance Practice Policy:
If you are currently taking Group Classes, Private Lessons, or are in a Private Group Class, at Renaissance
Ballroom Dance Studios, you are welcome to practice free of charge, at the studio.
If you are not currently doing any of the above, there is a $8.00 per hour "floor fee".
There are some limitations at to days of week, and time of day for practice times. To schedule a practice time,
please contact Chris, Michelle, or Jason.
